Our Story
SG Corp EduTech Solutions began in 2019 when a small group of South African teachers and engineers realised that while the Department of Basic Education had embraced Coding & Robotics, very few schools had access to affordable, curriculum-aligned kits and lesson plans.
What started as a weekend workshop for one Gauteng primary school has grown into a national supplier delivering to hundreds of schools, districts and NGOs every term.
Milestones
- 2019 — Founded in Johannesburg with a focus on Foundation Phase Coding & Robotics kits.
- 2020 — Released our first CAPS-aligned ATP library for Grades R–3.
- 2021 — Expanded into Intermediate Phase and launched teacher training workshops.
- 2022 — Awarded BBBEE Level 1 and became an approved provincial supplier.
- 2023 — Launched the Senior Phase Arduino & Python programme.
- 2024 — Partnered with NGOs to roll out CSI labs in under-resourced communities.
- 2025 — Launched the digital teacher membership and online course platform.
- 2026 — Today: serving educators in every South African province.
